Software Introduces Four Wireless Printing Products
New
Releases to be Demonstrated at PalmSource 2000

- Bachmann Software & Services today introduced four new products,
all of which will be demonstrated this week during PalmSource™
2000, the premier annual conference and trade show for Palm
OS® platform developers and solution providers.
The products-PrintBoy
2.2, PrintBoy Documents, PrintBoy Deluxe and Bachmann Print
Manager 3.2-are being demonstrated during the five-day conference,
which is being hosted by Palm, Inc. at the Santa Clara Convention
Center in Santa Clara, Calif., Dec. 11-15.
Each of the new
releases allow handheld computer users to graphically print
almost any information stored on their handheld. Collectively,
Bachmann's array of printing products is designed to dramatically
increase the overall business productivity of Palm™ handheld
users, said Glenn Bachmann, company president and CEO.
"We continue to
develop and make available new and better ways to print anything
users have stored on the Palm handheld," Bachmann said. "With
the addition of our enhanced suite of PrintBoy Solutions, we

PrintBoy 2.2
PrintBoy 2.2 is a suite of applets that prints appointments,
addresses, to-do lists, memos, e-mail and information stored
on the clipboard directly to most printers via infrared or serial
connection. Offering full graphical support for the Hewlett-Packard
DeskJet™ products, this latest PrintBoy release is the only
product on the market to offer graphical output for the HP DeskJet
350™ mobile printer. PrintBoy 2.2 is priced at US$14.99.
PrintBoy Documents
PrintBoy
Documents is the first stand-alone commercial software product
to allow users to print documents directly from their handhelds.
Working with any document converted to the standard .doc format,
PrintBoy Documents effectively supports printing of text, html,
Word, RTF and PDF files. PrintBoy Documents is priced at US$19.99.
PrintBoy Deluxe
PrintBoy Deluxe combines the functionality of PrintBoy 2.2 and
PrintBoy Documents with two additional PrintBoy applications:
Text Notes and Scribble Notes. These features enable users to
create and print either a text or scribbled note, enabling the
sharing of information captured on the run. PrintBoy Deluxe
is priced at US$32.99.
PrintManager 3.2
PrintManager 3.2, the robust graphical print engine driving
all PrintBoy solutions, now allows software developers to integrate
the many features of PrintBoy into their own software products.
This product includes a full suite of printer drivers and a
software developer's kit, which enables developers to easily
add printing capabilities to their Palm OS software applications.
PrintManager 3.2 is priced at US$34.99.
