Bachmann
Software Announces a Free PrintBoy Software Promotion With Purchase
of Infrared Adapter
SPARTA, N.J. - November 1, 2000 - Today,
Bachmann Software and Services introduced a complete wireless
printing solution which bundles its popular PrintBoy software
with the Infrared Printer adapter that converts a printer to
accept IR reception. This wireless printing package includes
the Actisys™ IR 100M infrared cable which allows a printer to
accept infrared signals from over 100cm away. Powered by an
AC adapter (included), it automatically switches between IR
wireless and cable-based printing.
"While PrintBoy has
become the most popular wireless printing software for the Palm™
handheld, many printers are not as universally equipped to communicate
via IR as today's handheld computers. Therefore, we want to
provide the entire solution for those customers looking to perform
wireless printing on their existing printers," said Glenn Bachmann,
company president and CEO. "For a limited time, we will be including
PrintBoy for free when customers purchase the IR enabling cable
from our on-line store."
The Actisys IRDA
printer adapter is $99.00 plus shipping and handling. The price
includes a free copy of PrintBoy; a savings of nearly $20.00.
