their popular PrintBoy Software, with PrintBoy 2.2 version.
In addition to the previous ability to print calendars, addresses,
to-do lists, memos and clipboard items, PrintBoy 2.2 includes
4 important new features:
- Full Graphic support
for Hewlett Packard (HP) DeskJet™ products and PCL 3 compatibles,
such as the HP DeskJet 350™ and all DeskJet™ models
- A bundled system
that includes PrintBoy 2.2 packaged with an Actisys™ IRDA
adapter; capable of upgrading printers to accept infrared
communication
- Better support
for the Greenwich Instruments™ serial cable
- Support for the
Handspring™ serial cable using the Greenwich Instruments™
cable
Bachmann Software will showcase this new version of PrintBoy
will be demonstrated this week during PalmSource™ 2000, the
premier annual conference and trade show for the Palm OS® platform
developers and solution providers.
The company will
be performing live demonstrations of PrintBoy to multiple printers,
including a HP DeskJet 350™ mobile printer using the internal
infrared port, the Actisys™ IRDA adapter and Greenwich Instruments™
cable.
The introduction
of version 2.2 marks the first time PDA users can graphically
print to an HP DeskJet 350™ mobile printer; one of the most
likely choices of the mobile professional.
PrintBoy users such
