New Captra version enables sophisticated printed reports for mobile business customers using QuickBooks™ on their handheld

The addition of PrintBoy’s printing component enables users of Symbol’s Captra software on Palm OS? and PocketPC/Windows Mobile handheld computers to print business-critical reports such as Invoices, Estimates, Credit Memos and Purchase Orders, with sophisticated report layouts and formatting.

Symbol was able to achieve the new report printing capabilities in Captra v5.0 by licensing and integrating Bachmann Software’s PrintBoy SDK Enterprise Edition, in the process leveraging the PrintBoy SDK’s powerful new cross-platform ReportLayout functionality, unparalleled printer compatibility, and transparent printing connectivity over infrared, LAN, Bluetooth™, Wi-Fi and cabled connections.
